Saab Cannot Pay Employee Wages

Saab says cannot pay employee wages

According to the BBC  Swedish car maker Saab has said it does not have enough money to pay its employees' wages.

Saab have said that they are in talks with lenders to try and obtain some degree of short term funding to pay the wages.
Earlier in the month the company indicated it had reached a deal with 2 Chineses firms to invest a reported amount of £218m in the company. There is also speculation of a huge order that could in turn provide vital funds for the cash strapped Swedish car manurfacturer
Currently production has been halted by the Swedish manurfacturer.
